BEN SMITH
Lead Pastor
Ben pastored here at HLCC as the Associate Pastor from 2007 until August of 2015 when he took the position of Senior Pastor . He has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 2002 and his passion is discipleship and communicating the Word through sound Biblical preaching. He loves investing in people and helping them grow in the faith as followers of Jesus. Ben loves to empower and equip others to realize their potential in ministry and release them to use their talents for the sake of the Kingdom and the community.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Bible from Boise Bible College (2003) and a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Multnomah University (2015).
Ben and his wife Angie have been married since 1998 and have been blessed with 3 beautiful girls—Gracie, Libby, and Elise. He loves spending time with family and friends doing anything outdoor recreation, especially if it involves extreme adrenaline or barbequed meat!

AARON JONES
Discipleship Pastor
Aaron has served as a pastor at High Lakes since June of 2016. Aaron coordinates and oversees our Discipleship Process and Life Groups. He has a heart for seeing the lost find Jesus and helping people following him in obedience.
Aaron and his wife Heather have been married since 2008 and have two awesome children. He enjoys time with family, his dogs and cheering on the Oregon Ducks!

Isaac O'casey
Student Ministries Pastor
Isaac grew up here in La Pine and has called HLCC his home church since 2006. He and his wife Emily have been married since 2016. Having called La Pine home for much of his life, Isaac has a unique insider’s perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented to the students of our community and envisions seeing each student have a chance to respond to the Gospel of Christ by the time they graduate High School. Isaac loves introducing students to the God of His Word, the Word of God, and his wonder-filled Creation. A perfect day for Isaac is hunting birds over his German Shorthair pointer, Brigsby, and then inhaling multiple half gallons of ice cream with Emily while watching Princess Bride or Nacho Libre.

Samantha Maginn
Summit Kid's Ministry Director
Samantha (Sam) oversees our Summit Kids and Nursery Ministries. She has volunteered in the Children's ministry since 2021 and became a part of our staff in 2023.
Sam and her husband have been married since 2016 and have two young boys. Her happy place is being in the kitchen, whether it's cooking for her friends and family or making sourdough bread. She enjoys the coast and going camping, but mostly loves a good cup of coffee.
Her vision is for the children of Summit Kids ministry to feel loved and safe, to feel the love of Jesus Christ, sprinkle in a little fun and laughter and that's her perfect Sunday.
